2019 DFO SCIENCE RESPONSE - FISHING AREA 41

Lobster in Lobster Fishing Area (LFA) 41 is assessed on a multi-year assessment schedule, with stock framework and assessment science advisory processes conducted approximately every five years and stock status updates conducted in the interim years. The status of the lobster resource in LFA 41 was last assessed in September 2017 (DFO 2018, Cook et al. 2017). This is an interim stock status report based on 2018 data.

2020 DFO SCIENCE RESPONSE - FISHING AREA 41

The status of Lobster in Lobster Fishing Area (LFA) 41 was last assessed in the fall of 2017 (DFO 2018; Cook et al. 2017) with annual updates in the following years. This stock status update applies the suite of indicators from the 2017 assessment to the stock status up to the end of the 2019 season (wherever possible).
